RESTAURANT GUIDE FOR MUSLIM VISITORS TO KOREA

SEOUL

Currently, over 140,000 Muslims live in Korea, and the number of Muslims visiting
the country continues to grow each year. Due to the dietary requirements of Islam,
however, it is not always easy for visitor Muslims to find suitable places to eat.
In response, this information introduces restaurants where Muslims can comfortably eat in
Korea's main tourist centers, including  Seoul.

These restaurants use halal ingredients and are listed according to
whether or not they use such as squid, clams, pork, etc.

ITAEWON

As  a cultural space, Itaewon is the most cosmopolitan and complex in Seoul.
A favourite tourist destination among both foreigners and locals,
Itaewon offers food from many different cultures from every corner of the world.
The small alleyways behind the Hamilton Hotel lead you to restaurants
 where you can enjoy Greek, Thai, or French cuisine.
In addition, the Korea Muslim Federation is located across from Hamilton Hotel,
so there are many different Islamic stores and restaurants which specialize in HALAL food.

As this area is popular with visitors to Korea, there are many products for foreigners,
 and shop assistants are often quite fluent in English.


DUBAI-Middle Eastern

Enjoy Arabic food at this Middle Eastern restaurant run by Iraqis.
Besides the wide variety of curries and kebabs they offer,
appetizers like hummus and falafel are also available.
After your meal, try a waterpipe, with eight flavors availaible, including apple,
mint, strawberry, rose, etc.

This restaurant located near the mosque in Itaewon serves Indian and Arabic cuisine.
Their popular lunch menu is available in the daytime on weekdays, and their popular buffet

ANKARA PICNIC- Turkish

This restaurant serves authentic Turkish Kebabs, and all of the staff members are Turkish.
Chicken and lamb kebabs are available. As the restaurant is quite small, people tend to order
take away rather than dine in.

Pasha  is a newly-opened kebab restaurant run by a Turk,
so you can enjoy made the right way. At the Restaurant's entrance,
they shell Turkish ice cream, but there is wider variety of flavors inside.
In one corner of the restaurant, they sell traditional Turkish sweets and bread.
